Submission is only from Monday – Thursday 9am – 12pm. Kindly be there on time .


It is very easy to book a swiss visa appointment in Nigeria. You have two options

Option 1

Give the Switzerland embassy in Nigeria a call but kindly ensure you have your international passport with you because you will be asked questions on your passport details.

The number to call is +234 (0)810 071 8141 and they only accept calls between Monday –Thursday form 2pm-3pm

Option 2

This is more preferred when applying for Switzerland visa in Nigeria, you can just send the Switzerland embassy in Nigeria a mail and they will respond to you, but kindly note that the swiss embassy doesn’t work 24 hours, so when you send a mail, only resend a reminder if you don’t get feedback within 24hours. Requirements for Switzerland visa in Nigeria :

Filled Switzerland visa in Nigeria application form.

Passport valid at least three months after leaving Switzerland. (submit all previous,passports, either valid or cancelled)

Photocopy of datapage of your passport;

Copy of all valid Schengen, UK, US and Canadian Visas if applicable

For non-nigerian nationals residing in Nigeria: copy of the Nigerian residence permit

Two recent (3 months old)  full-face photographs for each applicant. Kindly note that white background, head coverings are not permitted except for religious reasons.

An original letter of invitation from Switzerland. Must contain: name, first name, date of birth same as in the passport for every invited person. Purpose and duration of the visit (please give the exact dates of stay). Please indicate if the stay and cost are guaranteed. The invitation, duly signed, must be sent by e-mail to abu.visa@eda.admin.ch prior to the appointment date given to the applicant

If self-employed, kindly provide Introduction letter, business incorporation certificate and memorandum, original and photocopies.

Company bank statement and personal bank statement three months back stamped and signed by the bank

For employees, kindly provide an introduction letter from the employer with an indication of the start date of employment, the annual salary, the granted leave period and resumption date

Salary slips three months back. Personal bank statement three months back, reflecting salary slips stamped and signed by the bank
